HikingPromoting resident wellness and reducing resident burnout is a major program priority. Our work is championed by a dedicated team of residents and faculty who collaborate to develop and sponsor a wide variety of activities aimed at promoting physician wellness, developing personal resiliency, preventing burnout, and providing resources for confidential self-reporting and support.

Preventive Education

Cooking Dedicated educational sessions for all resident classes focusing on:

  • Identifying characteristics of health and wellness
  • Promoting resiliency
  • Sleep and fatigue mitigation and management
  • Burnout identification and prevention
  • Wellness assessment

Personal Skill Development

Holiday PartySmall group training sessions and workshops are held throughout the year to help residents develop skills that promote personal resiliency, such as:
