Why did I choose Middlesex?
I wanted to stay close to my family and find a program that allowed me to explore my interests in women’s health and public policy in relation to undocumented immigrants. I had the opportunity to rotate here twice during my third and fourth years of medical school, and I immediately felt at home and knew this was the place for me.
About my track and future goals…
I am planning to pursue the Maternal Child Health Track, because I would love to deliver babies as a family doctor someday. I am planning to stay in Middlesex County after graduation, perhaps by starting my own practice. Eventually, I would love to change healthcare laws and policy as a physician advocate while still seeing patients.
When I’m not on call I’m...
Playing with my puppy (and four cats!), helping my fiancé renovate our new home, or relaxing with our families over dinner and a game of cards.
A fun fact or two about me…
I was born in this very hospital!
