Why did I choose Middlesex?

When I interviewed at Middlesex, I felt a sense of family and community; both my fiancé and I immediately felt welcomed by all. In addition, I really liked what Middlesex had to offer, including both the integrative medicine and academic tracks. The three offices allowed me the opportunity to be exposed to different patient populations, and since the program is solo, I knew I would have a great training. Finally, the 4-year program allowed me the flexibility to pursue all that I want.

About my track and future goals…

My goal is to be able to care for patients of all backgrounds and incorporate my osteopathic skills to help patients achieve their health. Though I have many interests, I’m particularly partial to sports medicine, and I have a strong passion to teach. By completing a medical education track I hope to be better prepared for a career as a teacher.

When I’m not on call I’m…

You can find me doing something active or on the beach (even in the winter). I love learning about animals, especially marine life. I re-energize by being in social situations.

A fun fact or two about me…

I love all things about snow. I can also eat a burrito really fast!
