People at Middlesex have qualities that remind me of my Southern roots friendly, warm, open, welcoming all while having the skills to help me grow and develop into a wellrounded full-spectrum primary care physician interested in global and public health. The collegial atmosphere at Middlesex amongst faculty, residents, and staff as well as the opportunity to create your own path through residency are unique features that serve to enhance each resident’s educational experience. I chose Middlesex because I knew from day one that it would be the place to help foster both my personal and professional goals!

About my track and future goals...

I am pursuing the Global & Community Health Track. I am passionate about serving as a community leader and using my medical knowledge and skills to understand ways to enhance our global community from a public health perspective. I have worked in India, El Salvador and Guatemala and plan to return to provide local healthcare to rural and urban communities.

When I'm not on call, I'm...

Exploring this new state that I now call home! I’m usually outside exploring the small towns that are scattered throughout this unique landscape with cozy cafes, oldschool bookshops, and beautiful, scenic views. My favorite local spots are Mondo’s (a fun, casual pizzeria right here in town) and Esca (where you can often find our class hanging out after hours!).

A fun fact or two about me...

Too many to list here but one of the coolest places I’ve ventured is Australia and one of the places I hope to visit soon is the Galapagos Islands!
