Cardona, Michelle, M.D., M.P.H.

Prior to settling in Connecticut, Dr. Cardona served on the faculty of the MedStar Franklin Square Family Medicine Residency Program in Baltimore, Maryland. Her professional interests include community health, maternal-child health, evidence-based medicine and quality improvement. She holds a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and concentrated her studies there on social and behavioral effects on health. She has a particular interest in health promotion and the development of health habits for children, health literacy and health communication. Dr. Cardona directs our Middletown office practice and leads our quality improvement efforts.

I love precepting residents in the office and helping them problem solve patient concerns.

What I do for fun...

I love spending time with my husband and two children in the outdoors. Sprint triathlons are a particular passion.
