A native of Massachusetts, Dr. Rufo turned a passion for sports into a dedication to caring for athletes. He created and participated in our Sports Medicine track. He was honored with the STFM Resident Teacher Award. After graduation he entered a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Connecticut.
