Why did I choose Middlesex?
I really wanted a training experience that would provide me with the full scope of family medicine. Middlesex does that, plus gives me some extra room for learning more about my other interests, including integrative medicine, maternal health, and behavioral health. On top of that, I was immediately drawn to the community and culture of the program and knew that I would find a group of people that I would love working—and hanging out—with.
About my track and future goals…
I’m still working on the specifics, but I would love to incorporate Integrative Medicine and Obstetrical care into my future work. I also really love to teach and have always planned to continue doing so, whether with patients, students or residents.
When I’m not on call I’m…
Most likely reading a good book or watching a TV show on a couch somewhere, but I also really enjoy traveling and the outdoors. I go hiking as often as possible.
A fun fact or two about me…
I really enjoy art (especially drawing and painting), and I almost became an architect before I changed my mind and went into medicine.
