Why did I choose Middlesex?

Obviously I’ve spent a lot of time in Georgia, and it was really time for a change. I was interested in community programs and discovered that I really loved those with smaller class sizes, so Middlesex FM definitely fit. Also, the four-year program demonstrated to me that Middlesex is forward thinking and interested in improvement. On the interview day I was completely sold. The people, the program, the town—everything was awesome. You could tell the institution and community value Family Medicine. Everyone was welcoming, warm, and kind. Middlesex is simply a great program!

About my track and future goals…

I’m undecided right now. I’m currently interested in community health, women’s health, maybe sports medicine, and the list keeps growing. We’ll see where it all lands in time.

When I’m not on call I’m…

Hanging out with friends, going to the movies or watching shows at home, trying out new restaurants, doing random art projects that require no actual artistic ability, playing sports (I’m partial to basketball and frisbee), watching soccer (USWNT**** and the NWSL) or other women’s sports, and trying to get back into reading for fun.

A fun fact or two about me…

On my bucket list is to visit every state in the U.S. I have 21 left, so I’ve got some traveling to do!
