Na FunWhy did I choose Middlesex?

I wanted to surround myself with faculty with diverse interests and passionate residents in a community hospital.  I was looking for a program with a strong behavioral medicine curriculum as well as opportunities to pursue my interests in global and community health with a commitment to sustainability and quality care. I found all this all at Middlesex! I also was struck on my interview day how friendly and supportive everyone was, from the faculty to the residents and staff.

About my track and future goals...

I am interested in the Global and Community Health Track. During my time in residency, I hope to better understand and eliminate patient barriers to care in treating preventable diseases. I am motivated to contribute in bridging healthcare disparities and I hope to work in a community health center after graduation.

When I'm not on call I'm...

Hanging out at the grocery store where I go to de-stress (seriously), hiking, cooking or catching up on a good book.

A fun fact or two about me...

I have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
