Why did I choose Middlesex?
After my interview day I felt that the faculty and residents were exactly the kind of people that I hoped to work with during residency. The faculty are kind, supportive and focused on teaching. I was attracted to the 4 year curriculum which provides additional clinical experience and allows residents to explore their personal interests through individual tracks. I believe this training and experience will allow me to be the best that I can and help me achieve my future goals
About my track and future goals…
I plan on focusing on prevention in my primary care practice - which Family Medicine is the perfect field for! I have considered a personalized track as that would allow me to arrange more exposure specific to this. I also have a great deal of experience in teaching and have always enjoyed it and am considering the Academic/ Leadership track to prepare me for a career in academic medicine.
When I’m not on call I’m…
Outdoors enjoying the natural beauty of New England, hiking, running, cycling, weight training in the gym, and spending time with my wife Lauren who is a general surgery resident.
A fun fact or two about me…
My wife and I have a Savannah cat named Felix.
