Why did I choose Middlesex?
The excellent working environment! On my interview day, it was clear that the faculty, staff and residents were all very close and supportive of one another. This place has great morals. Also, Middlesex offers many opportunities to develop your interests in a variety of areas, such as community health and academic medicine. The residency program is an essential and well-appreciated service in Middlesex County.
About my track and future goals…
I am interested in community health and academic medicine. I do not know which track I will take as of yet. My goal is to be a full spectrum, well rounded family doc.
When I’m not on call I’m…
Spending time with my husband and cat. Exploring Connecticut's nature, including its many hiking trails and kayaking sites. I'm also in the process of trying out all of Middletown's restaurants.
A fun fact or two about me…
I've rolled hundreds of chocolate truffles, dipped half a million chocolate pretzels and made buckets of glorious caramel corn in my day. Life is sweet.
