Why did I choose Middlesex?
I worked with some amazing Middlesex Residency alumni during medical school; they quickly became my mentors and inspired me to pursue family medicine. After spending a month at Middlesex during 4th year, I knew this was the program where I would be challenged to grow both professionally and personally in a supportive and welcoming environment. I also knew I wanted to spend time during training learning more about integrative medicine and the individualized tracks allow that to happen.
About my track and future goals…
I have a strong interest in nutrition, osteopathy, and acupuncture. I am planning to pursue the Integrative Medicine Track and hope to complete the Fellowship in Integrative Medicine from the University of Arizona.
When I’m not on call I’m…
Working out in our basement gym, doing yoga, cooking, weeding the garden, sitting on the porch, listening to podcasts, and spending time with my husband. I also love home improvement projects and am in the process of repainting every room in our house.
A fun fact or two about me…
I used to work for the U.S. Forest Service and was trained as a wildland firefighter.
