Why did I choose Middlesex?
I did a 4th year rotation at Middlesex and absolutely loved it. Over the 4 weeks that I visited, a couple things stood out to me. The first, was how great the people are here. Everybody in the office and hospital do their best to support you and help you to become a great physician. I also really loved the focus on continuity of care. I think that the program is very special in the strong emphasis they have in forming bonds with your patients and caring for them both in and out of the hospital.
About my track and future goals...
I am part the the Academic Medicine and Leadership track and am currently working on my Masters in Medical Education through LECOM. I plan to use this time and opportunity to grow as a physician and a teacher. I hope to someday become a faculty member so that I can continue to incorporate learning and teaching into my practice.
When I'm not on call, I'm...
Going out to dinner with friends, binging on Netflix shows or hiking around New England!
A fun fact or two about me...
I can sing the alphabet backwards! Also, I love to travel (even during residency)! Pic above is me and my husband in Iceland.
