Why did I choose Middlesex?
The supportive learning environment was one of the many aspects of the program that drew me to Middlesex. By meeting the faculty and residents during interview day, I appreciated the dedication to teaching and learning in the program. Through the 4-year length of training and the Tracks of Excellence, I felt that I would have a strong foundation to best serve my patients in the future. Additionally, through an elective rotation, I became familiar with Middlesex Health and the diverse community it serves.
About my track and future goals…
In the future, I see myself in an outpatient setting providing primary care to all ages. I enjoy continuously expanding my knowledge about a variety of health conditions and would like to pursue this passion throughout my career. I am especially interested in the Behavioral Medicine and Geriatrics and Palliative Care tracks.
When I’m not on call I’m…
Listening to Bollywood music, cooking, spending time with friends and family.
A fun fact or two about me…
I lived in South Africa till the age of 8. Also, I have a twin sister who is a family medicine resident just like me!
