Dr. Kehl grew up in Kentucky with a deep appreciation of the role of Family Physicians in rural communities. He chose Middlesex to help prepare him for rural practice. He participated in a personalized Track of Excellence focusing on Urgent Care and Rural Medicine. After graduation he practiced Urgent Care in Connecticut and rural medicine in New Zealand and Washington State before returning to Middletown to serve as Medical Director for Middlesex Health Urgent Care.
