Dr. Ozbek originally trained as a clinical pharmacist, and then subsequently in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Ozbek came to us after many years of private practice, first as a staff member of a large multi-disciplinary HMO in Reston, Virginia and later was a staff physician in private practice in Miami, Florida. She serves as one of our two full-time faculty obstetricians.
What I like best about working at Middlesex...
After working in both large and small institutions there is nothing better than really knowing your colleagues. There is a sense of "home" at Middlesex that creates for not only the patient but also the employees an atmosphere of security and safety.
My favorite thing to do with residents is...
It is wonderful watching them do a continuity vaginal birth. I love observing the connection they have with the patient, especially after many hours of labor. The delivery of a healthy baby gives the patient and the resident a sense of such great accomplishment
What I do for fun...
Cooking dinner for my family in my brand new kitchen!
