What I like best about working at Middlesex...

I choose to work at Middlesex because of the people. Residents and Faculty work as a team with nurses, staff and specialists in a collegial, respectful way that centers on providing outstanding, safe and well-coordinated care for our patients. It is important to like the environment and people you work with. I love coming to work every morning!

My favorite thing to do with residents is...

I love working with our residents in the hospital. Caring for all of our patients admitted from the 3 offices, our own obstetrical patients and newborns, and our patients requiring evaluations in the Emergency Department makes these weeks both challenging and fun. It's a time to work with the residents on a one-on-one basis to provide care, learn together and spend time discussing the challenges of residency, medicine, and life.

What I do for fun...

As the mother of a young boy, I spend much of my time outside of work spending time with him including watching him play hockey. His name is Bruin so you can guess what team we root for! We always enjoy walking at Hubbard Park or on the Quinnipiac trail. When I have time to myself, I enjoy crocheting and making holiday decorations.
